2. WHAT ARE COOKIES?

Cookies are small files or devices that are downloaded to or stored on the user’s device when they access certain websites.

Cookies make it possible, among other functions, to ensure the proper operation of the website, to remember certain browsing preferences and, where appropriate, to obtain information on how users interact with the website.

Some cookies are strictly necessary for the operation of the website, while others may only be used where the user has given their prior consent.

3. DATA COLLECTED BY MEANS OF COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

In accordance with the current technical configuration of the website, cookies and similar technologies may process or store information related to the operation of the website, the user’s preferences, analytics and advertising measurement.

  • the user’s consent choice and, in order to demonstrate that it has been obtained, the date, the option selected and an anonymised IP address;
  • identifiers or session information necessary for temporary access to private or off-market content, the internal CRM area or the WordPress administration;
  • language preferences and the status of the chat or of the Private Advisor session;
  • identifiers and information necessary to distinguish users or maintain session status for analytics purposes;
  • identifiers and information linked to the measurement of conversions, advertising, attribution and the operation of advertising services.

The specific information associated with each cookie or technology is detailed in the inventory included in this Policy.

4. TYPES OF COOKIES AND PURPOSES

Depending on their purpose, cookies may be classified, among others, into the following categories:

  • a) Technical or strictly necessary cookies

These are the cookies necessary to enable browsing of the website and use of its basic functions, as well as to ensure its security and proper operation. These cookies do not require the user’s consent where they are strictly necessary to provide the service requested.

  • b) Preference or personalisation cookies

These make it possible to remember information so that the user can access the service with certain characteristics or preferences, such as language or other configuration options.

  • c) Statistical or analytics cookies

These make it possible to obtain information on how users use the website, for the purpose of analysing its operation, measuring its activity and making improvements to the content or services.

  • d) Marketing or advertising cookies

These make it possible to manage or personalise advertising content and, where appropriate, to track the user’s browsing or interactions in order to display content or advertising tailored to their interests.

At present, LY21 REAL ESTATE uses strictly necessary and preference cookies or technologies and, where the user consents, analytics and advertising or marketing technologies, in accordance with the following inventory.

The entries identified as localStorage or sessionStorage are browser storage mechanisms and not cookies in the strict sense. They are included in the inventory because they may retain information related to preferences, the session or analytics and advertising services.

This inventory must be kept up to date whenever cookies or similar technologies are added to, removed from or modified on the website.

When a person accesses the website, they will be provided with information on the use of cookies by means of the corresponding banner or consent manager.

Cookies that are not strictly necessary will only be activated where the user has given their consent. The user must be able to:

  • accept all cookies
  • reject all cookies that are not necessary
  • or customise their choice, selecting the categories of cookies they wish to authorise.

Refusal to accept non-necessary cookies will not, as a general rule, prevent access to the website, without prejudice to the possibility that certain optional features may be limited where they depend on technologies that require consent.

Consent is obtained by means of an affirmative action by the user. The accept and reject options have the same format and visibility, and the manager allows the analytics and advertising categories to be configured separately. Google Consent Mode v2 is integrated with permissions denied by default.

In order to be able to demonstrate the choice made, the system records the date, the option selected and an anonymised IP address. Consent is requested again every 6 months. The manager is available in Catalan, Spanish, English and French.

The user may modify their preferences or withdraw at any time the consent previously given in respect of cookies that are not strictly necessary. Withdrawing consent must be as easy as giving it.

To this end, the website will provide a permanently accessible mechanism allowing the cookie preferences manager to be reopened and the selected settings to be modified.

The user may also delete the cookies stored on their device or limit their use through the browser’s settings. This procedure may vary depending on the browser used. The user may consult the privacy and cookie options available in the help or settings section of the relevant browser:

8. THIRD-PARTY COOKIES AND INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

The third parties linked to the cookies and technologies described in this Policy include services of Google, Meta, Hostinger and, in relation to the __cf_bm cookie associated with Hostinger Reach, Cloudflare infrastructure. The available information on the purpose and duration of each technology is set out in the inventory above.

The use of certain global technology services may involve the processing of, or access to, data from jurisdictions located outside the Principality of Andorra or, where applicable, outside the European Economic Area. Where international transfers of personal data take place, they must be carried out in accordance with the LQPD and any other applicable legislation, with the safeguards appropriate in each case. Further information on providers and international transfers is provided in the Privacy policy.

9. RELATIONSHIP WITH THE PRIVACY POLICY

Where the information collected by means of cookies or similar technologies constitutes personal data, its processing will be carried out in accordance with Qualified Law 29/2021, of 28 October, on the protection of personal data, its implementing regulations and any other applicable provisions.

The user may consult additional information on the processing of their personal data, the legal bases, the recipients, the retention periods and the exercise of their rights in the Privacy policy of LY21 REAL ESTATE.

LY21 REAL ESTATE may update this Cookie policy where there are changes to the cookies or technologies used on the website, new services or providers are added, the purposes of the processing are modified or it is necessary to adapt it to legislative or technical changes.

The version in force shall be the one published on the website at any given time.

Where the changes affect consent previously given or involve new purposes requiring consent, consent will be requested again where necessary.
